Maintenance and Technical Support for Integrated Public Safety, Security, and Operations Systems for Midwestern Airport System

Project Description

SD·I developed and currently maintains a comprehensive system for event response at the Communication Centers of two major midwestern airports. For one center, SD·I created and linked digital facility maps with the Computer-Aided Dispatch System for police, fire, emergency medical services, and airport security. At both centers, SD·I upgraded and linked badging, access and dispatch systems to create a fully integrated, state-of-the-art security system. SD·I provides on-site technical support services to maintain these security-related control systems.

Project Goal

The Communications Centers Upgrade Project was designed to improve security and control access to sensitive areas, lower event response time, and collect event-related data for analysis and future planning.
