SD·I's David Gupta Recognized as One of Chicago United's 2007 Business Leaders of Color
Chicago, Ill. (October 24, 2007) – SD·I (System Development·Integration, Inc.), a systems integrator that fuses information technology, security, operations and facility management to support critical organization systems and data, today announced that president and CEO David Gupta has been named by Chicago United as a 2007 Chicago Business Leader of Color. Gupta was recognized as one of forty-five of Chicago’s finest business leaders due to his leadership skills, professional expertise and devotion to civic service.
Under Gupta’s leadership for more than 17 years, SD·I has served nearly 150 clients; opened a second office in Denver and has achieved consistent annual growth in revenues. Continuing to build on SD·I’s core competency of managing strategic assets through technology, SD·I is accomplishing its mission of becoming the preeminent advisory services firm in its customer set. In addition, Mr. Gupta manages the First Chance Initiative minority student internship program at SD·I. This program welcomes summer interns from area high schools and universities to work at SD·I, further demonstrating another example of Mr. Gupta’s commitment to Chicago.
A fifty-two member nomination and selection committee selected the honorees to be featured in the 3rd Edition of Chicago United’s Business Leaders of Color. The publication will be released during Chicago United’s Changing Color of Leadership Conference scheduled to take place Thursday, November 15, 2007 at the Sheraton Chicago Hotel and Towers.
