SD·I Welcomes Mark Raffel as VP of Corporate Development
CHICAGO - March 30, 2007 - SD·I (System Development·Integration, Inc.), a public sector systems integrator specializing in command environment systems, infrastructure and operations, announced today that Mark Raffel has joined the firm’s senior management team as Vice President of Corporate Development. Mr. Raffel will direct overall corporate development and integration activities of future acquisitions at SD·I, which grew 57% in 2006 revenues to finish the year at $26MM.

Mr. Raffel has over 22 years of management consulting experience with deep expertise in integrating organizations and improving corporate processes and applications. Prior to joining SD·I, Mr. Raffel was the Director of Operations for WHITTMANHART. He was responsible for managing and delivering the key metrics and profitability reports that allowed the company to make the appropriate operations decisions. In addition, Mr. Raffel was responsible for managing internal application development and process improvements projects that simplify the non-client delivery activities of the consultants.
Mr. Raffel has a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems from the University of Colorado and has completed the Systems Engineer Development Program with EDS.
