Transportation/Mass Transit Case Studies
Public transportation officials face a daily challenge of juggling public safety, passenger satisfaction, and equipment maintenance. At SD·I we have first-hand knowledge of this challenge as we have developed several IT solutions for the nation’s second largest public transportation system. As part of our solution, we integrated and modernized the security monitoring system; we developed a more stable and integrated computer network and operating system; and we created a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to monitor labor and equipment needs. We even currently provide full-time, on-site staff to offer support and assistance in the maintenance of our IT solutions and products.
