program and project management.
Today's complex IT and systems integration projects require an experienced hand to execute efficiently and within budget. SDI uses time-proven methodologies to ensure that our projects and our clients' projects are successful. We bring to bear extensive experience gained from over 18 years managing large, complex projects. We employ two areas of expertise:
Program Management: SDI manages large complex programs for our clients that involve multiple sub-projects and dozens of contractors. Acting as an independent 3rd party, SDI is able to effectively schedule complex series of projects, anticipate and manage risk, and deliver on-time and on-budget.
Project Management: Our Project Management methodologies were developed during the last 18 years successfully delivering complex projects for our clients. Our PMI-Certified Project Managers utilize time-proven methodologies from the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) to manage key areas, including:
-
Project Integration Management: ensures that the various elements of the project are properly coordinated and executed.
-
Project Scope Management: ensures that the project includes all the work required, and only the work required, to complete the project successfully.
-
Project Time Management: ensures timely completion of the project
-
Project Cost Management: ensures that the project is completed within the approved budget.
-
Project Quality Management: ensures that the project will satisfy the needs for which it was undertaken.
-
Project Human Resource Management: makes the most effective use of the people involved with the project.
-
Project Communications Management: ensures timely and appropriate generation, collection, distribution, storage, retrieval and ultimate disposition of project information.
-
Project Risk Management: increases the probability and impact of positive events and decreases the probability and impact of events adverse to the project.
-
Project Procurement Management: involves processes required to purchase or acquire products, services, or results needed from outside the project team.
